High Note Music Festival Success
High Note Music Festival Success
Congratulations to our CMS Band and Chorus students on an outstanding day at the High Note Music Festival. The Chorus earned a Superior rating, and the Band earned an Excellent rating, reflecting the hard work, growth, preparation, and dedication of our students and directors throughout the year.
We are incredibly proud of how our students represented Chichester both musically and professionally throughout the festival experience. Students also enjoyed a great day together at Dorney Park following the performances and awards.
Celebrating Our Students
The annual CMS Band Banquet will be held on Thursday, June 4 at 6:00 PM and will celebrate the accomplishments of our Middle School Band programs, including Jazz, Indoor Percussion, and Indoor Guard.
Families are encouraged to complete the Band Banquet Reservation Form as soon as possible so an accurate catering headcount can be finalized. Reservations close Wednesday, May 27 at 3:00 PM.
Dinner will be catered by Lia’s Catering.
Band students attend for free. Additional family members age 4 and older are $10 per person, while children under 4 attend free.

Cash and checks will also be accepted. Payments sent to school should be placed in a sealed envelope labeled with your child’s name and “Band Banquet” and given directly to Mr. Knecht or dropped off in the Main Office.
Beverage and dessert donations are also being accepted to help support this year’s Band Banquet celebration. Families interested in contributing may sign up using the Band Banquet Donation Form.

The CMS Band Booster Association will hold its virtual General Membership Meeting on Tuesday, May 26, at 6:30 PM. Proposed bylaws, key update information, and additional organizational updates are now available for member review.
Concert Band
Spring Concert Information
Spring Concert packets for the 2026 Middle School Band Concert were distributed to students in Band class this week and shared via email. Concert information and forms are also available here.
Families are asked to review the information carefully and return the permission slip page no later than Tuesday, May 12.
A reminder that the 4th and 5th Grade Band Concert will take place on Tuesday, June 2 at 7:00 PM in the Middle School Auditorium.
We encourage families and students to come out and support the younger musicians who are an important part of the future of our band program.

Congratulations to our Indoor Guard and Indoor Drumline students on another successful season of performances, growth, and hard work.
Thank you to our students, directors, staff, volunteers, and families for the time, commitment, and support shown throughout the Indoor season.
We are proud of everything our students accomplished this year and appreciate the dedication, teamwork, and effort they brought to the program.
A special thank you to Jaron, Liberty, and the entire instructional staff for their leadership, dedication, and continued support of our students throughout the year.
