2026 Proposed Bylaws Review & General Membership Meeting
As part of ongoing organizational planning and annual governance review, the CMS Band Booster Association is currently completing a comprehensive review and update of its bylaws.
The proposed updates are intended to improve clarity, modernize and streamline organizational language, strengthen financial oversight, and better align the bylaws with the organization’s current operations while supporting long term consistency and continuity.
Key proposed updates include:
• Clarified organizational roles, responsibilities, and authority
• Updated governance and operational coordination language
• Updated meeting and voting flexibility
• Strengthened financial oversight and annual review processes
• Improved continuity, transition, and organizational record procedures
The General Membership Meeting will be held virtually on Tuesday, May 26 at 6:30 PM and will include year-end program and booster updates, organizational planning information, Board election information, and an overview of the proposed bylaws updates.
Meeting access details will be shared via email and posted on the website prior to the meeting.
Voting on the proposed bylaws will take place electronically following the meeting. Additional voting information will be shared with members prior to the start of voting.
